Books I am currently reading

May 2021

At the moment I am reading lots about the effects of long covid, as I have been struggling myself with this condition, hence why I'm not returning to teaching face to face classes just yet. If you are a long covid sufferer I might have some suggestions and help I can offer you on the road to recovery.

I have just started reading 'The book of Rest'

My yoga space - aka the box room

May 2021

Over the last 13 months, I have moved away from a faster vinyasa style of yoga due to my own ill health following covid 19.  Meditation has been my main focus with lots of gentle breathing practices.  As I write in May 2021, dizziness and on-going fatigue affect me daily, so any physical practice tends to be YIN these days, restorative yoga and yoga nidra.

What will a community class look like post covid-19?

May 2021

We truly live in a state of impermanence. If we adapt to change we suffer less.

A community class will look a bit different as we move forward post pandemic. It is still all a bit up in the air, as many of us want to enjoy the social element of practicing yoga with our friends in a class environment. However, future classes need risk assessments, rooms need cleaning before and after. The amount that can attend will be smaller and booking will be essential to avoid disappointment. Payment will be made beforehand on-line via the website or via an app.  Bringing your own equipment will be mandatory. We all need to look out for each other like never before.

Gone are the days of dropping in at the last minute.

Head to the Zoom page for the at home yoga experience.
